Proudly serving Carleton County and the surrounding area since 1985
Carleton Ground Search & Rescue Inc. team personnel conducted a practical GPS and Waypoint outdoor training Exercise at the McCain field area, Hartland, NB on the evening of April 27/2006.
Team Members navigate over chilled potato ground to a reference point. It is a nice clear but cool spring evening.
Another Team is on the move. The new Hartland Community School is under construction in the background.
Barely visible on a tan colored knoll in the distance, a GPS Team is documenting a landmark.
(L-R) Robert, Glenda and Noella document a reference marker.
(L-R) Robert, Glenda, Noella, Paul and Susan join forces at the yellow marker.
Several of the Exercise participants meet with team training personnel at a marker to compare notes.
The evening turns cooler and light begins to fade on our Exercise as the sun sets over the St. John River Valley at Hartland, NB.
