CARLETON GROUND SEARCH & RESCUE INC.
Proudly serving Carleton County and the surrounding area since 1985
CGSR Team Members assisted again this year in the 22nd annual Carleton Co-operative Bike Rodeo which occurred
on Saturday, June 09/2012 at the Northern Carleton Civic Center in Florenceville, NB. This is historically a co-operative
event between Carleton Co-operative Ltd., the RCMP and Carleton Ground Search & Rescue Inc. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police Officer
present conducted a bike and helmet safety check following registration. All participating bike riders must wear a
safe and proper fitting helmet. The RCMP Officer also spoke to the participants about various safety concerns and considerations
relating to bike riding. Carleton Ground Search & Rescue personnel traditionally participate in this event by maintaining
checkpoints and records, keeping the course traffic flowing smoothly and promoting general safety on the course.
Our Team provided
a new bike helmet again this year as a prize.
